Do You Have Flat Feet?
The "Wet Footprint" test is a simple home diagnosis performed by wetting the feet in water and then standing on a smooth, level surface such as smooth concrete or any surface where you can see the water imprint left behind. If your foot is flat, then the strip is the same width as the front of the foot, creating a footprint that looks like a stretched out pancake ("flat as a pancake"). With a normal arch, the strip is about half the width of the front of the foot. If you have a high arch, only a thin strip connects the front of the foot with the heel.

Order your Insoles by your most common shoe size.
When you receive your insoles, stand on them on the floor. They should be about the same length as your foot. No more than 1/4" of the insole should protrude beyond the end of the foot.
Selecting the correct sized Flat Foot Insole is important. Please read all of the information below.
MEN - If your shoe size is a half size, start by selecting the next larger size. Example: If your shoe size is a 9.5,choose a 10. If that doesn't work, try the next smaller size.
WOMEN - Women's sizes are on the half size. If your shoe size is a whole size, select the next larger half
size. Example: If your shoe size is a 7, choose a 7.5. If that does not work, try the next smaller size.
TRIMMING INSTRUCTIONS
If possible, remove existing insoles or liner before inserting your new Insoles. Your new Insoles can be trimmed down to fit a half size smaller. Trim no more than 1/4" across the toe area and/or the outstep as indicated. We will not accept returns if the heel or arch have been trimmed.
The Arch 1000 Performance Insoles have a different sizing scheme, but the idea is the same.
